Our founder, David Beanland has been in the fruit and vegetable wholesale industry for 60 years.

Its primary role was to be a potato merchant supplying a large quantity of fish and chip shops in the West Yorkshire area. This has not changed but it has since become one of the leading suppliers of potatoes and vegetables to a wide range of businesses including supermarkets, mini markets, catering suppliers and all types of catering outlets.  

As the business expanded it has become the leading potato merchant in west Yorkshire and the product range has now increased to all fruit and vegetables.

In 2004 the business expanded into the manufacture of ready prepared vegetables. These are manufactured on site in a separate unit which was acquired and equipped for this sole purpose.
